The tournament takes place in Novomoskovsk for the second time, the first time tournament was held in Tula region in 2013. Then it was attended only 4 teams and the winner of the tournament was  Novomoskovsk team.

An interesting fact is that ice hockey tournament EuroChem Cup 2014 practically will be the world hockey championship among children because competitions will be held during the World Hockey Championship in Belarus.

International Children's ice hockey tournament EuroChem Cup 2014, organized by "Eurochem", will be held at the ice palace “Jubileinyi”. This sports complex was built in 2011 and fitted out with the modern equipment. On its base it was founded children and youth sports school with  figure skating, ice hockey, sports aerobics sections and health groups in the gym. EuroChem Cup hockey tournaments have a high level of organization and are aimed at popularizing the sport and healthy lifestyles among young people.
