Hockey club “Yurmaty-SCA”, Salavat

The team has been training since 2010. The basic republican competition of the team is the Championship of Children’s hockey league of The Republic of Bashkortostan, where they have already played for three seasons. They have succeeded in these competitions twice winning silver medal and each time lost the game in a hard struggle with HC “Salavat Yulaev” in final.

In season 2014-2015 HC “Yurmaty-SCA” defeated the boys from “Salavat Yulaev” and became the Champions of Children’s hockey league in The Republic of Bashkortostan among the teams of 2004 year of birth.

In February, 2015 the hockey players became the winners of the republican competition “Golden Puck” in the age group 2004-2005 year of birth.

In March 2015 in Ulyanovsk the team “Yurmaty- SCA” took part in the final competitions of the club “Golden Puck” among the teams of The Volga federal district and The Southern Federal district and won a convincing victory! In 2015 the boys also participated in all-Russian final of the club “Golden Puck” among the teams of 2004-2005 year of birth in Krasnodar.

In the season 2015-2016 the team took part in the regional qualifying tournament of Russian Championship “Ural-Western Siberia” among the teams of 2004 year of birth. They played quite successfully in Perm and Chelyabinsk, winning one stage and became bronze medalists twice in their groups.

At the final stage in Chelyabinsk they fought to win the right to play next season in the group of the strongest teams of Russian Championship “Ural and Western Siberia”. “Yurmaty-SCA” won three victories, one of them over the hosts HC “SCH Makarov by name” ( Chelyabinsk). They also defeated HC “Southern Ural” ( Orsk), “Metallurg” (Sverdlovsk region) and lost only one match with HC “Olympian” (Surgut). As a result the team won the third place and 9 scores together with the group leaders but lost the chance to continue the competition because of the difference between scored and missed pucks. This fact didn’t let them play in the group of the strongest teams of “Ural-Western Siberia” region. But the hockey players are moving on, training and getting ready for the next competitions including EuroChem Cup 2016.
