The draw of international children’s tournament Eurochem Cup 2017 was held in Novomoskovsk

On 03/03/2017 the draw of international children’s hockey tournament EuroChem Cup took place in Novomoskovsk.

On 03/03/2017 the draw of international children’s hockey tournament EuroChem Cup took place in Novomoskovsk. The right to divide the teams into groups was given to executive director of the company JSC NSC “Azot” Aleksandr Savenkov and the head of Novomoskovsk – Vadim Zherzdev. As a result of the draw the teams were allocated into almost equally strong groups. In group A we will see teams from Kazakhstan, Kovdor and Lithuania, the teams from Germany, Estonia and Kingiseppe will compete in group B, in group C - the teams from Switzerland, Belgium and Novomoskovsk and in group D the team from Nevinnomyssk will meet Finnish team and the team from Salavat.

The total number of participants in the tournament EuroChem Cup 2017 is 12; 12 teams from seven countries – Russian Federation, Germany, Finland, Switzerland, Belgium, Lithuania and Estonia. The tournament is developing fast expanding its geography every year, and is considered to be one of the main children’s hockey tournaments of Russia, which occupies its solid niche in the list of sports events in Tula region. The games will be held at the same time with the town’s birthday celebration and are thought to be its symbolic supplement.
